The client contacted us after a some areas of this traditional cottage were raised in their level 3 RICS survey, before purchase, so we were able to provide quotes for work helping them move forward with the process.

When it was agreed we were then subsequently booked in, to make various repairs and conduct the remedial works that were outlined in our visit.

• making and supplying our own hot-mixed lime mortar; we re-pointed the brickwork behind a cast iron downpipe.
• re-using some bricks from the cellar that were in a good and dry condition, we tidied up the brickwork that had been left damaged around a door frame.
